Booking Terms and Conditions

Pure Nature Eco Safari Ltd.
Effective from: 1 August 2026

1. Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once we receive the required deposit and send a written confirmation. By confirming a booking, the client accepts these Booking Terms and Conditions.

2. Payment Terms

A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm the booking.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari begins.

Bookings made within 30 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: The deposit will be refunded less any non-refundable third-party costs and an administration fee of USD 100 per booking.

  • 31–60 days before departure: 30% of the total booking price.

  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the total booking price.

  • 7–14 days before departure: 75% of the total booking price.

  • Less than 7 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total booking price.

Government-issued permits (including gorilla and chimpanzee permits) are subject to the refund policies of the Uganda Wildlife Authority and are generally non-refundable once purchased.

4. Amendments

If a client requests changes to a confirmed booking, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate them. Any amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional costs or administrative fees. Changes requested close to the departure date may not be possible.

5. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any loss, delay, cancellation, or additional expense caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather, floods, fires, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, border closures, or other unforeseen events.

Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under this agreement if such failure or delay results from a force majeure event.

Where possible, we will work with clients and suppliers to reschedule the safari or provide suitable alternatives. Any refunds will be subject to the policies of hotels, airlines, national parks, and other service providers.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, personal belongings, and travel delays.

7. Responsibility

We arrange and operate our safaris using carefully selected independent service providers, including airlines, hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other partners. While we take great care in selecting these suppliers, we cannot be held responsible for acts, omissions, delays, or failures by independent third-party service providers that are beyond our reasonable control.

8. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust the tour price if there are increases in government taxes, national park entrance fees, gorilla or chimpanzee permit fees, significant fuel surcharges, or other mandatory charges imposed by third parties after a booking has been confirmed.

Should such changes become necessary, clients will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable. We will always provide a clear explanation of the reason for any price adjustment.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they have a valid passport, any required visas, and all necessary travel documents before departure.

Clients are also responsible for complying with any applicable health requirements, including recommended or mandatory vaccinations, and for seeking appropriate medical advice before travelling.

It is the client's responsibility to ensure that they are physically fit to participate in the booked activities. Certain activities, such as gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, may involve strenuous hiking over uneven terrain.

Clients are required to follow the instructions of their guides, park authorities, and local regulations at all times. Pure Nature Eco Safari Ltd. reserves the right to exclude any participant whose behaviour endangers the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others, without entitlement to a refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

Participation in wildlife activities involves inherent risks. While every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure the safety of our guests, clients participate at their own risk and agree to follow the instructions of their guides and park authorities at all times.
