For many years, Tom had dreamed of building his own safari company. At the same time, he knew that turning this dream into reality would require a strong partner in Europe—someone who understood the European market and shared the same values.

In January 2026, Tom and Meike met for the first time on a safari in Uganda. What began as a series of conversations soon developed into a shared vision. It quickly became clear that they believed in the same kind of travel: authentic experiences, responsible tourism, and genuine hospitality.

Just a few months later, Meike returned to Uganda. During ten intensive days, initial ideas became concrete plans, plans turned into decisions, and a shared vision became a company.

Together with Tom and his wife, Shallon, Pure Nature Eco Safari was born—a company founded by people who know East Africa from different perspectives but are united by one shared passion: creating exceptional journeys that respect nature, celebrate local communities, and offer authentic experiences that stay with travellers long after they return home.
